No — ashwood is a pale, open-grained finish; natural wood is the shell in its clearest, least-treated tone. They are separate finishes in our range.

What is Italian aniline leather?

Aniline leather is dyed through in a drum rather than surface-coated, so the natural grain stays visible and the leather softens and develops a patina with age. We use Italian aniline hides on every chair in this range.

Does the white leather mark easily?

Aniline leather is uncoated, so a pale hide shows marks and develops a patina more visibly than a dark one. Wipe spills promptly and condition every six months and it will age evenly rather than staining.

Can I buy this chair without the ottoman?
